The annual Pennsylvania Tax Institutes, Inc. (PTI) one-day Federal Income Tax Course is an 8-credit hour summer program being taught by Mark Ribas CPA. Mark is a retired IRS Agent and a practicing CPA. He retired from the IRS after 38 years of service. He has led the PTI team since 2003.
The topics that will be addressed at these upcoming seminars will include: Travel expense deductions, various individual issues topics, Choice of Entity, Collection Issues, Estate & Trust updates and a detailed discussion on new tax legislation (if passed). If the new tax legislation is not passed, Mark will review the most important provisions of the Tax Cut New Jobs Act which is currently scheduled to expire on 12/31/2025! You can expect these sessions to be very entertaining and informative!
The seminars should be considered as an intermediate income tax course and the attendee should possess a good working knowledge of federal income taxes to attend these sessions.
